TEXAS CHIMICHURRI SAUCE:
1 cup each packed CILANTRO & ITALIAN FLAT LEAF PARSLEY
3 large GARLIC CLOVES
¼ cup packed fresh OREGANO LEAVES
¼ cup RED WINE VINEGAR
½ – 1 teaspoon CRUSHED RED PEPPER FLAKES
½ teaspoon KOSHER SALT
½ teaspoon fresh cracked BLACK PEPPER
¾ cup GRAPESEED OIL
2 pounds greatO GROUND BEEF
1 teaspoon KOSHER SALT
1 teaspoon fresh cracked BLACK PEPPER
8 MULTI-GRAIN SANDWICH THIN BUNS
1. Combine the Chimichurri sauce ingredients in a food processor or blender and process to a chunky texture. Place the sauce in a bowl. Cover until ready to use
2. Combine the ground beef, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Shape the seasoned beef into 8 patties 5 inches in diameter and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Cover and refrigerate until ready to grill.
3. Heat a gas or charcoal grill to 350°F. Make sure the grill rack is clean and free of burned food particles. Place the patties on the hot grill, cover and cook for 4 minutes. Turn the patties over and cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes. Place a patty on each bun half and top with 2 tablespoons Chimichurri sauce and serve.
